KINK BASICS - with Captain Dissident & Mastress Caer | Gadigal Land

New to kink, or curious?
This workshop gives you the tools to explore it safely. We will define kink, BDSM and basic power dynamics. The three pillars of safety: legal, physical, and mental (including aftercare) will be dealt with in detail.
You'll learn practical consent, how to negotiate what you want from a scene, and how to craft one. You'll also learn how to make kinky toys from everyday objects.
Knowledge requirements: None. Beginners welcome.
Partner requirements: Not mandatory. You'll be paired with a workshop buddy for limited clothes-on exercises, and you can opt out of any physical demonstration.
Required equipment: None (presenters supply everything).
VENUE / ACCESSIBILITY - There is a flight of stairs leading up to the venue, and unfortunately no lifts. Please get in touch if you need more details!

FAQs
- Do I need a partner?
Not mandatory. You'll be paired with a workshop buddy for limited clothes-on exercises, and you can opt out of any physical demonstration.
- What's with your sliding scale pricing?
We have added a pay-what-you-can/want ticket - to help support the community and those who may not be able to afford the full price ticket, this is an option where you can pay what you can from a minimum limit. There is no upper limit on this ticket, so if you feel like subsidising those who purchase lower priced tickets, or giving a little extra to the facilitator to support us, this is your option!
We believe in both accessibility for the community, as well as making sure our facilitators are paid appropriately for their erotic / intellectual labours, so this is our solution to hold space for both with a minimum of fuss!
Enjoy this social experiment, and we'd love your feedback.
