Includes Entry to KDO Markets

Sydney’s alternative community unites this December for Kink Day Out (KDO), an unmissable weekend dedicated to connection, celebration, craftsmanship, and play. Bringing together newcomers, seasoned players, and creative artisans alike, KDO offers a welcoming, consent-focused sanctuary to explore every facet of alternative culture. Across two packed days, experience the best our community has to offer with three distinct flagship events celebrating our people, our makers, and our desires.

The celebrations kick off on Friday, 11th December with the KDO Kink Awards at The Burdekin Hotel (2 Oxford St, Darlinghurst). Take your place among friends and community icons as we shine a spotlight on the educators, artists, organizers, and champions who make our local scene thrive. Beyond honoring our trailblazers, the night comes alive with a stunning runway fashion parade showcasing cutting-edge fetish and alternative couture, flowing straight into a high-energy social where resident DJs keep the beats spinning till late across the dance floor.

On Saturday, 12th December, the community reconvenes by day for the KDO Markets at the Rex Centre in Kings Cross. Immerse yourself in a vibrant bazaar featuring local artisans, bespoke leathercraft, custom latex, handcrafted toys, and alternative apparel made by the community, for the community. Whether you are hunting for an outfit upgrade, curious about new gear, or keen to learn from experienced facilitators across interactive demonstrations, the daytime markets provide the ultimate space to shop, connect, and explore.

When the sun sets on Saturday night, 12th December, the weekend reaches its climax with the KDO Play Afterparty at Goddess Lounge (Level 2, 249 Marrickville Road). Shed your civilian skin and step into a dedicated, high-vibe play space tailored for sensual indulgence, impact, and dynamic scene work. With strict dress codes enforced, vetted dungeon spaces, and an electric atmosphere, it’s the definitive finale where you can dance, socialize, and let your deepest fantasies take center stage.
