Description

Kinnect Festival, formerly named Naked In The Trees, is a four-day adventure for the curious — it is an invitation to explore, express, and exhale.

Set deep in the lush landscapes of King Country, this privately owned riverside site becomes our home for four extraordinary days celebrating music, movement, and meaningful connection. Wander barefoot between a cascading waterfall, natural swimming holes, and ancient forest as the land comes alive with sound, art, and community.

More than just a party, Kinnect Festival is a space for curiosity and courage — where workshops, play spaces, and open dialogue encourage deeper connection with self and others. All spaces operate under Kinnect Wide’s consent framework, designed to create freedom through clarity and mutual respect.

Whether you’re dancing under the stars, soaking in the river, or exploring new ideas around pleasure and wellness, you’ll find space here to slow down, strip back, and come home to what matters.

Designed for open-minded adults seeking depth, joy, embodiment, and meaningful community.

Organised by Kinnect Wide, this is a festival where freedom meets intention.

This is an R18 event. Valid ID required.

All attendees must understand and abide by the festival rules:

TWO ZONES

The Village
Soak in tranquillity. This is where workshops are held, music is played, food is served, the market comes alive, healers and tattoo artists run, and a large sauna awaits.

The Playground
This is the zone of high energy and late-night expression. Come here to play, dance, bathe in projections, and watch fire throwers and aerialists.

THREE STAGES

Across the weekend, the Foreplay Stage hosts an inspiring programme of workshops, while the Unity Stage showcases live music and performances throughout the festival.

As the sun goes down, head to The Playground, where the Liberation Stage comes alive with an exceptional lineup of electronic artists from Aotearoa and beyond, keeping the dancefloor moving until 3am each night.
