Join us for the opening celebration of our latest exhibition - The touring Kirrenderri - Heart of the channel country chronicling extraordinary stories from one of the most remote locations at the very heart of Australia. Featuring rarely seen artefacts, historic and contemporary photographs, archaeological discoveries, and rare interviews exploring the cultural and aesthetic riches of the Mithaka region of Channel Country

This exhibition is presented and toured by The University of Queensland Anthropology Museum, with support from Mithaka Aboriginal Corporation. The exhibition tour has received support from the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.

Join us for a Curator's talk at 2pm with light refreshments, canapes and an afternoon of celebration.
