Come enjoy an uplifting evening of mantra, music and meditation as we return to Alice Springs for Kirtan Mantra Night.
Kirtan is a simple and enjoyable form of meditation using mantra supported by live music. You can simply sit back, relax and listen, or join in with the chanting if you feel comfortable. It’s a beautiful way to unwind, calm the mind and experience a deeper inner happiness

Kirtan Meditation – mantra meditation accompanied by live music
Mantra Breathwork – a simple breathing and mantra practice to help calm and settle the mind
Yoga Wisdom – practical insights from the ancient yoga teachings
Chai & Sweet Treat – stay afterwards and enjoy some delicious spice chai and a sweet treat
New to kirtan?
You are very welcome! No previous meditation or kirtan experience is needed. There’s no pressure — you can join in as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
Come on your own or bring a friend. Everyone is welcome.

Do I need to know how to sing?
Not at all. You’re welcome to sing along, hum, clap or simply sit back and listen.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. Many people come on their own and you’ll be warmly welcomed.
What should I bring?
Just yourself! Chairs are provided and there’s no need to bring a yoga mat. You may like to bring a water bottle.
Is this a religious event?
Kirtan is a spiritual meditation practice from the yoga tradition. People of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome to come and experience it.
