Workshops run by Kitty Obsidian will be spoken from a disabled, queer, trans & BIPOC perspective with a world view and understanding of kink. As such, all bodies are welcome no matter age, race, gender, sexuality or disability.
No racism, queer/transphobia, ableism or general rudeness will be tolerated.
1. Risk aware? Risk matrixes and management for Kink!
Saturday 25th January - 11am to 1pm
As kinksters we love to engage is some delicious risky business! But how do we actually recognise the risks that might occur in our play? How to we manage them? In this workshop we pull apart what a risk is, how to assess them & what to do about them as well as communicating our own risk matrix with play partners new and old. What is a risk matrix? Come along and find out!
2. Caning for pleasure.
Saturday 25th January - 5pm to 7pm
The delightful whistle & thwap of a cane is music to the ears of sadist. Stingy implements of all kinds can be scary but in this workshop we break down canes, rods and stingy things to understand safety, techniques and how to use them for pleasure as well as pain.
3. Wax, knives and sensation play!
Sunday 26th January - 1pm to 3pm
Hot wax, sharp shiny things and shuddering sensations. Explore the wonderful word of using sensation in ways you've never thought of before. Safety, materials and techniques will all be broken down as well as a chance to experience different tools.
NOTE: None of these workshops require a top/bottom pairing. Kitty has designed them to be useful for solo people as well so that they are accessible as needed. Having said that, there will be some time in the workshops (cane and wax) to have a little practice so if you are coming solo perhaps bring a pillow to practice on for the caning workshop.
STAY AND PLAY - Dungeon sundowner party!
Sunday 26th January - 3.30pm to 8pm
Our workshop attendees may add on a discounted ticket for an afternoon dungeon party. We'll have play spaces set up, crank the music and fire up the BBQ!
