After an incredibly successful festival in 2024, we are excited to be back for KiwiPan Festival 2025. At the same exciting venue of Dune Lakes Lodge, with one of Auckland's most acclaimed caterers, Lotties Soul Food Depot. We have an internationally recognised educator coming from Australia, as well local educators and performers. Celestial Sound Handpan maker will be attending and offering retunes. There will be instruments to share and try out and also the opportunity to go home with a new instrument!
For those of you that already own your own Handpan, this will be your best opportunity to have your instruments retuned or serviced by Australasia’s most reputable maker. If you don't own a Handpan then you may rent one from us for the weekend for $30 in order to participate on your own instrument.
Celestial Sound Handpan owners can use their serial number in the discount code section to receive their $40 discount. The Serial Number of each Celestial Sound Handpan is located on the inside of the top shell (look through the bottom port with a flashlight).
This year's venue is the sanctuary space of Dunes Lakes Lodge, a place where both human and equine coexist in an educational and mutually respectful and beneficial environment. We will be sharing our instruments not only with each other but with the animals with whom we share this space. Dunes Lakes Lodge has all the facilities to make the weekend relaxing and comfortable. Located 1 hour outside of Auckland, there is limited beds available and plenty of camping.
Heart warming and nourishing food will be lovingly prepared by Lottie's Soul Food Depot, a plant based vegetarian menu. Most dietary requirements can be catered for.
Expect to meet Baran Yildiz, Christian Bianco from Two Hands Tapping, Chewy Wilson from Alive Metal Handpan, Tim Tom from Celestial Sound Handpans, and locals Taylor Sol, Gareth Killip and Jimi Dale. All are welcome, no experience playing the instrument necessary. Beginner, intermediate and advanced players will all have something to learn.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
