For the first time, Kizombada Dance Studio is bringing a group of Australian dancers to Kuala Lumpur to share an intimate Kizomba & Semba Weekender alongside the Malaysian community. This is more than just a workshop event—it is an opportunity to connect with dancers from different countries, build friendships, explore Kuala Lumpur together, and immerse yourself in the music and culture that bring us all together.

To maintain a high-quality learning environment and ensure personal attention throughout the weekend, places are strictly limited.

What's Included?

Saturday

4 Hours of Kizomba & Semba Workshops

Followed by a relaxed and social evening where participants can dance, connect, and continue building friendships beyond the classroom.

Sunday

4 Hours of Kizomba & Semba Workshops

We'll finish the weekend with a Sundowner Session—a chance to unwind, socialise, reflect on the weekend, and enjoy the Kuala Lumpur atmosphere together.

Throughout the weekend, participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy local experiences, discover great food, explore parts of Kuala Lumpur, and create unforgettable memories with fellow dancers from Malaysia and Australia.

Optional Pre-Weekend Activities

For those arriving early, Thursday and Friday will be filled with tourist activities, local experiences, great food, and opportunities to explore Kuala Lumpur together.

While these activities are primarily designed for our travelling guests, we would love members of the local community to join us for some informal pre-weekend gatherings. Whether it's sightseeing, sharing a meal, or simply getting to know each other before the workshops begin, it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with dancers from across the region before the official weekend starts.
