- STAYING HYDRATED AND BEING SUN SMART
Participants are responsible for their own hydration. There will be no water stations along the route. Please make sure you carry enough water to keep yourself hydrated throughout the entire event. Please wear a shirt with sleeves, a wide brimmed hat or cap, as well as broad spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+).
- FOOD
Before the event, buy some home baking from the cafe in the senior block. After you’ve finished your event there will be plenty of food stalls to purchase something more substantial to eat and drink back on the school grounds. You might want to take a banana or healthy energy bar as a boost along the trail but please remember to bring your rubbish off the hill with you . There will be EFTPOS facilities available at school for you to get cash out.
- MEDICATIONS
Please have any medications which you may require during the event with you e.g inhalers and epipens
