Klara and the Sun

We’d love you to join our Connect With Purpose community for our first Movie Fundraising event.

All funds raised will go towards the development of our Global Ambassador Programme, equipping and empowering young people to create positive change in the world.

Klara and the Sun is a beautiful and thought-provoking story about love, hope, friendship and what it truly means to be human. Told through the eyes of Klara, an Artificial Friend with an extraordinary capacity to observe, wonder and love, it’s a powerful reminder of the importance of connection, compassion and belonging, values at the very heart of Connect With Purpose.

Written and directed by Academy Award-winning Kiwi filmmaker Taika Waititi, the film features an incredible international cast including Jenna Ortega, Amy Adams, Steve Buscemi and Natasha Lyonne. 🌟

Join us in Arties Bar from 5.30pm. Drinks, snacks and raffle tickets will be available for purchase.

Please be seated by 5.45pm for a short presentation. The raffle will be drawn and the movie begins at 6pm.

We can’t wait to see you there!
