Knee pain is one of the most common presentations you'll see in the clinic and one of the easiest to get wrong. Anterior knee pain alone can be patellofemoral, tendinopathy, fat pad, referred from the hip, or something you don't want to miss entirely. So how do you tell them apart when the history is vague and the tests all seem to hurt?

Jane is one of a small number of Australian physiotherapists to hold the profession's highest clinical qualification, and is an examiner for the Australian College of Physiotherapists. She was Serena Williams' physiotherapist across five Australian Open seasons and worked with Naomi Osaka in 2018, is a 2016 Churchill Fellow who investigated international ACL injury management, and helped launch the GLA:D program in Australia. She also holds academic appointments at Swinburne, Melbourne and La Trobe.
