Know the signs: Preventing Abuse of Older People

Learn to identify and prevent abuse and neglect of older people

This session is designed for older people and their supporter and will explore:

·      What elder abuse can look like and why it’s important we all understand it.

·      How to spot when something is not right and what we can do to help.

·      How we can all make our community safe and more respectful for older people.

·      Find out about local support services including My Aged Care

This session will be facilitated by Vicki Johnston, a leading Trauma Therapist and Family Violence Specialist and supported by the Carers Gateway.
