Knowledge, Wisdom and Courage. Exploring the impact of Ageism on us and how to respond.

Ageism includes stereotyping, disrespecting, devaluing and discriminating on the basis of age. While young people can feel the effects of ageism, ageism is most insidious and devaluing to those who are older. Other "ISMs", such as racism and sexism have received a lot of attention over the last few years, however ageism rarely gets mentioned or noticed. We would like to change that! Come and join us in exploring how ageism impacts us and ways to handle it in our everyday life. Afternoon tea will be provided.
