Join us for a community planting of koala food and habitat trees in core koala habitat!
ECOllaboration's Koala Conservation project plans to restore 50ha of core koala habitat across Eumundi Conservation Park and Noosa National Park through weed control and revegetation works. Under this project we will restore 8ha within Noosa National Park through planting of koala food and habitat trees.
Join us for a morning to plant trees for koala habitat and create a tangible difference for our local koalas. No experience is required, and all ages are welcome! Morning tea will be provided 🍌🍎🥪 alongside the necessary tools and guidance.
When: Saturday January 18th, 8am-11am
Where: Research Street, Coolum ECO Industrial Park (Noosa National Park)
To bring: Long pants, long sleeves, sturdy enclosed shoes, hat, sunscreen, water, gloves if you have your own. This event may require minimal walking into the area.
Parking:
- Please park on Research Street inside the Coolum ECO Industrial Park to be shuttled in by 8am.
- To return to your car from site please see Francesca or Tahlia (Orange ecollaboration shirts) anytime for a shuttle back to the parking area
