Melissa is the only Western Australian walking the Kokoda track in late April 2020 for Shelterbox. Please support her and Shelterbox by watching Kokoda in a private cinema on the Friday before she leaves for Papua New Guinea.

Cause:

All funds raised will go to Shelterbox. ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity established in 2000 in Helston, Cornwall, UK, that provides emergency shelter and other aid items to families around the world who have lost their homes to disaster or conflict.

Film:

Papua New Guinea 1942, the battle for the track has begun. A fearsome force of Japanese fighters land on the northern coast of Papua New Guniea, with the intention to seize Port Moresby and invade Australia.

This is the perfect film to watch in the lead-up to Anzac Day to remember those who served our country

The Backlot Perth is a purpose-built private screening room for film and corporate presentations. Nestled between Northbridge and Leederville, on the outskirts of Perth’s CBD, The Backlot Perth features a 50-seat screening and presentation room, lounge and bar area.
