Rotary Community Christmas Carols in Korumburra

Carols are back on the lawns at Coal Creek, and we’d love you to join us!

The Rotary Club of Korumburra is bringing back one of Korumburra’s much-loved Christmas traditions. Bring a rug, settle in, and enjoy an hour and a half of carols and festive cheer with your neighbours, friends and family.

What’s on
Local bands, school groups and performers will take the stage for a relaxed evening of music to welcome in the Christmas season. And you might just spot Santa!

When and where
Friday 18 December 2026
7:00pm to 8:30pm (gates open at 6:15pm)
Coal Creek Community Park & Museum, on the lawns between the rotunda and the Pig & Whistle.

What to bring
Picnic rugs, camping chairs, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Come early and get comfortable.

Bag checks
This is an alcohol-free, family-friendly event, so volunteers may ask to look inside bags larger than A4 size at the gate. Please leave glass bottles at home. You have the right to decline, but entry may be refused if you do. Thanks for helping us keep it safe and fun for everyone.

Free, but please register
There’s no cost to attend, it's just a gift from Rotary to the Korumburra community. Registering online helps us plan, and it will also help you avoid disappointment, as numbers for the event are capped at 500. If you need a hand registering, get in touch with the Rotary Club of Korumburra and we’ll happily help.

Parking
Regular parking at Coal Creek and the surrounding streets will be available. Where possible, please arrive early, and avoid entering the car park if it appears full.

Weather
In the event of an extreme weather warning, this event will be cancelled and you will be notified by email.

It's also a chance to say hello to your local Rotary volunteers and find out what we do. We hope to make this an annual fixture, so come along and help us start it off right!
