At a 2 Bent Rods activity, you will learn the basics of fishing including how to tie fishing knots, bait hooks, cast a fishing rod and learn plenty of tips to make your next fishing trip a successful one. All activities are taught by our patient fishing instructors who all have Blue Cards for working with children.
You will also learn about Carp & Tilapia and the rules surrounding them. They are an invasive species of pest fish found in the waterways of Queensland.
We recommend you bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen and wear clothes that can get wet.
This activity is funded by the Logan City Council's Krank School Holiday Program and is exclusive to residents of Logan.
2 Bent Rods holds a valid permit from the Biosecurity Qld to run educational activities and have carp and tilapia in our possession to dispose of when practical.
We recommend you bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen and wear clothes that can get wet.
This activity has been funded by Brisbane City Council as part of their Active and Healthy Program. Chill Out is for 10-17yr olds.
