Boroondara Riverfest - Krefft’s Glider Hollow Checks - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Description
Boroondara Riverfest is postponed. Due to the extreme wet weather forecast this Friday 2 October, we’re sad to advise this outdoor community event at Willsmere Billabong won’t be proceeding. We don’t want everyone to miss out on all the fun, interactive activities we had planned so we’re postponing the event to Friday 27 November. We’ll share new event details and activities you can book in the coming weeks.
Join us for a unique wildlife monitoring experience as we check nest hollows for signs of our resident Krefft's gliders. Learn how Council monitor local wildlife, help record sightings, and contribute valuable data to support the conservation of this remarkable native species.
This guided outdoor activity is part of an ongoing monthly monitoring program, and we would love your help collecting information that supports local biodiversity.
