Kriya Yoga + Sound Bath
Description
Kriya Yoga & Soundbath
Join us for a deeply restorative evening of movement, breath, and immersive sound at Unity Spiritual Community of Central Oregon. This unique experience begins with gentle Kriya Yoga, an ancient practice of conscious movement, breathwork, and energetic activation designed to release stagnant energy, awaken the body, and open the mind to deeper awareness. Through tapping, shaking, stretching, and guided breath practices, we help regulate the nervous system and prepare the body for stillness and inner exploration.
Following the movement practice, participants are invited to lie down and journey inward during a meditative soundbath, where waves of healing frequencies from gongs, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, flutes, drums, and other sacred instruments wash over the body and mind. These resonant vibrations help quiet the thinking mind and guide the brain into deeply restorative states of relaxation and meditation.
Sound healing is known to support numerous benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety, improved sleep, nervous system regulation, enhanced mental clarity, emotional release, and a greater sense of inner balance and well-being. Many participants report feeling profoundly relaxed, refreshed, and more connected to themselves after a session.
No yoga or meditation experience is necessary. All body types, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome.
Please bring a yoga mat, a light blanket, and an eye cover to help you fully relax and receive the experience in maximum comfort as you settle into a powerful journey of movement, stillness, and sound.
