Kunanyi Folk Club October
Description
This October Kunanyi Folk Club is thoroughly delighted to bring you...The Delmores
The Delmores is Daniel J Townsend, Tilley and Ally Oliver. Three-part harmony, poetry and stories from a tiny island on the edge of the world.
Daniel J Townsend has developed a reputation as one of Australia’s most engaging and inspiring voices. An award winning educator, songwriter and poet, Daniel has a head full of stories, a soul old enough to have lived them, and a heart young enough to believe in their power to move us.
Tilley has worked with Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz) and UK techno producer Clark, has performed at TedX, and works as a passionate vocal coach and facilitator for singers locally and around the world.
“One of Tasmania’s best-kept secrets.” (Emma Anglesey)
When Ally Oliver performs, there is little distance between artist and audience. She writes the kind of songs your heart knows but hasn’t heard yet. Ally has embedded herself in the Tasmanian music scene as a performer, collaborator and educator.
