The KUNJUR Kup Murri Masterclass is back — a hands-on cultural experience for anyone wanting to learn, grow, and stay connected to tradition.

This masterclass is about more than food. It’s about passing on knowledge, building pride, and keeping culture alive through action, story, and shared responsibility.

What’s Involved:
🔥 Building and preparing the Kup Murri pit
🍠 Preparing and cooking a traditional Kup Murri feast
💬 Learning from respected Cultural Mentors
🖐🏽 Getting your hands dirty, sharing yarns, and building confidence
🎯 Additional cultural activities while the food is cooking
😁 Good energy, good kai kai, and community connection

👣 Who Can Attend:

• Ages 12–15 must attend with a parent or guardian

• Ages 16+ may attend independently
  This is a space for young people and community members of all ages to learn cultural skills and build strong foundations for the future.

📅 Important Info:

🕣 Time: 8:30am – 5:00pm (Full-day attendance required)
📍 Location: Nintiringanyi Cultural Training Centre
16–18 McCormack Street, Mooroobool QLD

🧾 What to Bring:

• Closed-in shoes for all pit and cooking activities

• Thongs or casual shoes for non-fire-related parts of the day

• A spare shirt (you’ll likely break a sweat before the feed!)

• Water bottle, hat, and anything else to keep you comfortable outdoors

Once you’ve secured your ticket, a KUNJUR team member will contact you to check in and complete a consent form.
