KURILPA REACH 'KEEP FALLING' TOUR - BRISBANE

With Special Guests Dizzy Days + Chaperone

Off the back of their debut album release last year, Kurilpa Reach have been cooking up in the studio and are back with a bang with ‘Keep Falling’. After a national headline tour at the end of 2023, festival slots in New Zealand and supporting bands like South Summit in 2024, KR are finally back with the first release of their new cycle.

Keep Falling is a track that showcases the development of KR’s sound, production and songwriting over their 7 years of music making, while still sticking to their rootsy indie rock sensibilities. A track about being hopelessly in love, this song will either have you relishing in the deep love you have right now, or reminiscing on you you’ve felt for someone in the past. Keep an ear out for the trumpet solo that will tug at your heartstrings!

Produced by ARIA award winning Cody McWaters (King Stingray, Selfish Sons, The Chats), this track sees the band back working with Cody for the first time since 2020, and the familiarity but growth is clear to see in the pop sensibilities wrangled out of the band by this production.

The band have also recently signed with new indie label Yama-nui Records, headed up by Oj Newcombe (John Bulter Trio, The Beautiful Girls). This continues their longstanding relationship with the Yama-nui family, and both parties are intensely excited to be working together for KR releases going forward.

To celebrate, Kurilpa Reach are getting back where they belong, on the road to bring this and a bunch of new music to audiences across the country. Highlighted by being a showcasing artist at SXSW Sydney in October, the tour will take the band back through Sydney and Melbourne, culminating in what is sure to be a sell out at Echo and Bounce in Brisbane, an afternoon party that will be for the ages.
