Ms Onur Kurt & DJ Luqman

Transport yourself to a night filled with a mix of classical and Anatolian Psychedelic remixes performed by Ms Onur Kurt accompanied by DJ Luqman on the beats!

Her music and soulful voice are influenced by her Turkish roots as well as Western influences. She founded The Kismet Project in 2019, performing Anatolian, Psychedelic, Middle Eastern,gypsy, and classical Turkish songs.

She has collaborated with many artists and musicians from Turkish,Balkans,Middle Eastern & Western. Performed at many venues including Bar Oussou, Open Studio, Night Cat, Abbotsford Convent, Bar, Melbourne Museum, New Year's Eve Docklands and Moomba.

Luqman is Syrian/ Lebanese DJ x Live Electronics act who was born and raised in Naarm. He plays a wide range of electronic music; including music from the Middle East & North Africa. Luqman has been making music and performing since 2019. 

Luqman is a new presenter doing Tuesday nights 10-12am after Joel Pearson’s Virtual State program on MainFM. His show is an electronic music focused program, also using the platform to voice on social justice.
