Kuta presents: SAMATAR, a Somali-Australian artist, rapper, producer, and poet from Ngunnawal country, known for blending hip-hop, avant-garde, post-punk, and electronica into introspective, emotive music. His debut EP "ANTIHERO" explores themes of self-realisation and inner conflict, accompanied by an immersive short film.
Recognised as FBI Radio’s Independent Artist of the Week, SAMATAR continued his genre-bending approach with "Ode to a Dying Rose," a double single mixing alternative hip-hop with his own classical composition. His immersive live performances, including supporting the likes of Nai Palm showcase his evolving and creative vision.
SAMATAR will be joined on the night by Ayesha and Zey.
