Join Wiradjuri fibre artist, Jessika Spencer, for a woven jewellery making workshop.
Jessika Spencer, will share her knowledge and techniques in this jewellery making workshop.
In this intimate workshop participants will be guided to make their very own woven adornment collection using contemporary fibres that have been eco-dyed and inspired by Country. The session be focused on making a matching jewellery set consisting of earrings and an armband.
This cultural workshop is a gentle introduction to weaving and is suitable for all skillsets.
Jessika was a finalist in the recent National Indigenous Fashion Awards in the Traditional Adornment category.
Please make your own way to Bundanon for this event. Kirsty will send you a copy of your ticket prior to the event. Entry to Bundanon is included in the ticket price, and entry to the Bundanon galleries is also included for one adult driver. Please car pool if possible.
This event is open to all Shoalhaven residents aged 11-24 years. The event is made possible with the support of the Kangaroo Valley Lion's Club Inc. with funding from the NSW Department of Regional Youth.
