Join Us for “Boodja Kaatidjiny” - Learning from Country
Dive into the wonders of Denmark’s natural and cultural heritage with Boodja Kaatidjiny, at the Kwoorabup River Trail. This inspiring morning event invites you to connect with Noongar culture and Country through storytelling, hands-on activities, and guided walks.
Highlights include learning Noongar bird names and calls, creating earth art inspired by black cockatoos, exploring the importance of forests and rivers to native animals, and participating in nature-based games. Led by local legends Aunty Carol Petterson, Angela Dickinson and Regi Peppin the program offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of the land, its stories, and its wildlife.
