'Sext Me, I'm Bored' is an exploration of the struggles of young women and our consistent battle with mental and sexual health. Lost between delusions and reality, this young woman contemplates her place in the world, launching into a journey of self-discovery which sees her reclaim her status as a woman. 'Sext Me' highlights the pressures of conformity, and examines how the mass distribution of porn has diminished the appreciation of the female body as an art form in order to encourage women to reclaim their sexual agency and identities.
Being a woman is unbelievably difficult, and in a world where women are often shamed or made to apologize for talking about it, this work hopes to instead elevate these experiences in the frame of a shared feminine experience.
