Join us for the launch of a new hardcover publication, Collecting: Living with Art. Created by Kym Elphinstone, arts advisor and founder of Articulate Communications, along with arts writer Jo Higgins and photographer Dave Wheeler, this lavish publication provides a rare glimpse into the homes of art collectors from across Australia.
Hear Kym Elphinstone in conversation with leading arts producer Bronwyn Johnson as they discuss the transformative impact of bringing art into the home, creating unique spaces and as a means of self-expression. The collectors featured span the youthful to the octogenarian and include artists, curators, architects, designers, gallerists, business professionals and philanthropists; all sharing their insights and advice on their approach to acquiring and integrating art into their homes.

About the Author:
Kym Elphinstone is an arts advisor and advocate working within Australia and globally. As the founder of Australia's leading cultural agency Articulate, Kym has championed the work of thousands of artists, advising on major museum and commercial gallery exhibitions as well as public art projects, biennales and festivals. Her clients include the Biennale of Sydney, National Gallery of Victoria, National Gallery of Australia, MONA and the Australia Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. A former lawyer, Kym launched Articulate in 2009 and prior to that worked for the MCA Australiaand on the launch of the New Museum in New York. Kym currently sits on the board of emerging art space Firstdraft and is a member of the Advisory Council for Australia’s largest art fair, Sydney Contemporary, which she helped to launch in 2003.
