Friends and musical collaborators for more than four decades, Laurie Lewis and Nina Gerber share a deep connection to the sounds and landscapes of Northern California. Together, they bring a remarkable musical chemistry shaped by years of performing, recording, and creating music side by side.

Fiddler, guitarist, singer, and songwriter Laurie Lewis has spent more than 40 years at the forefront of American roots music. Drawing from bluegrass and folk traditions, Laurie has built a celebrated career as a performer and songwriter, earning two International Bluegrass Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year awards and releasing more than 20 critically acclaimed albums.

Guitarist Nina Gerber first gained recognition through her work with Kate Wolf and has since become one of acoustic music’s most respected accompanists, performers, producers, and arrangers. Her collaborators have included Karla Bonoff, Greg Brown, Dave Alvin, Lucy Kaplansky, Mollie O’Brien, Nanci Griffith, and many others. Nina’s expressive playing moves effortlessly through folk, country, bluegrass, rock, and blues.

Together, Laurie and Nina weave insightful stories, humor, powerful musicianship, and a shared musical sensibility into a performance that is both deeply personal and unmistakably their own.
