We’re throwing two massive street party doofs in the laneway behind the Tamaleria... 

A ridiculous musical lineup from 7 until late feat. a seven piece all Latin firestorm from Kachimbaz, followed by barnstorming DJ sets from MAZ and Kimboclat.

And just for a giggle, we’ll also be filling the laneway dancefloor with Mexican Wrestlers, dancers and a special Tamaleria pinata. Rosa will of course be serving the absolute best Mexican street food the city has to offer all night, with beers from local Dulwich Hill Brewery Queens Of Chaos.

Kimboclat

Kimboclat is known for her diverse DJ sets, fusing baile funk, jersey club , reggaeton and everything in between. Bringing high energy ass shaking vibes to the club, Kim is known to make a crowd swear. She. has played alongside music heavy weights such as Jarreau Vandal ,Bambii and Skin On Skin. Not only has Kim made a name for herself in her home country but has played shows across the world in LA, Paris, Madrid and much more. She is also founder of Naarm based party collective “Klub Kowa” which show cases high bpm global club music.

MAZ

MAZ, is an Eora based DJ with a total and completely unique sound fusing her Brazilian roots with global club influences, effortlessly blending Baile Funk, Latin Club and other hard-edged percussive styles. She’s recently performed at festivals like Pitch & Beyond The Valley in 2024 to supporting heavy weights Crybaby, INVT, Th4ys, Regal86, TAYHANA & many more. Her unique sound is known for its infectious energy, seamless transitions and unique, highly personalised, visceral energy.

Kachimbaz 

Kachimbaz is a high-energy multicultural band that brings the rich and diverse sounds of Latin America to life. With members from Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Australia, Tonga, and Colombia, the band embodies a true fusion of cultures and musical influences.

Originally rooted in salsa and cumbia, Kachimbaz has evolved into a dynamic act that embraces a wide range of Latin genres, creating an electrifying experience that gets audiences dancing. Their repertoire spans salsa, cumbia, merengue, ska, reggae, Latin rock, and psychedelic cumbia, paying tribute to the vibrant musical traditions of Latin America.

Drawing inspiration from legends such as Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Chico Trujillo, Los Auténticos Decadentes, Bareto, Ráfaga, Los Prisioneros, and Panteón Rococó, Kachimbaz delivers powerful performances that resonate with both Latin and international audiences. As they continue crafting original music, their mission remains the same: to unite people through rhythm, passion, and the universal language of music.
