La Mama IMMERSE 2027: Information Session and Q&A

Are you a mid-career writer interested in taking your theatre-making practice to the next level?

IMMERSE is a 12-week practice-led program for 12 mid-career writers, supporting participants to grow their practice, deepen their networks and develop their work towards presentation.

For 2027, six participants from regional Victoria will be selected.

The program is fully subsidised, valued at $8,000 per participant, and free for successful participants. It’s designed for mid-career but under-produced playwrights, as well as established artists and/or writers pivoting towards playwriting.

At this session, IMMERSE Pathways Manager Myf Powell will talk through the program, application process and what this opportunity can offer regional theatre makers. Myf is also one of the selectors for the 2027 program, alongside Keith Gow and Sarah Bell.

Where: Online via Zoom
Duration: 1 hour

A Zoom link will be emailed to registered attendees ahead of the session.

Can’t make it live? The session will be recorded and available on the RAV website afterwards, so you can watch it at a time that suits you.
