La Trobe Albury-Wodonga Community Conversation, Our Town impact and learnings
Description
Join Oliver Carlton from Our Town as he shares insights into their impact and learnings in working towards a more supportive, inclusive, and mentally resilient community.
Our Town is a ten-year, place-based mental health initiative supporting community-determined and preventative responses to mental health challenges. The Our Town initiative aims to build the capabilities of people living in rural and regional South Australian towns to support each other in the face of mental health and wellbeing challenges. The initiative supports towns and regions to define what’s right in and for their community, so that they can reclaim the mental wellbeing of their community.
Participate in a conversation circle and share learnings, insights and stories with others in our wonderful community. This is a joint initiative between Ovens Murray Public Health Unit and La Trobe University.
