What is a Laadli Care Package?

Although completely natural, menstruation is largely considered a taboo topic in the South Asian community. As a result, many people shy away from donating pads and tampons to food banks and shelters. Just like food and shelter, pads and tampons are essentials and we want to ensure that they are accessible by everyone in our community.

To tackle this issue and eradicate period poverty, we have created the Laadli Care Package for Laadlis in need that include:

• a pack of tampons/pads

• deodorant

• shampoo

• soap

• toothpaste and a toothbrush

Our pop-up thrift shop celebrating sustainable fashion and the stories we pass from one Laadli to another. Shop pre-loved South Asian clothing, give new life to cherished pieces, and support a meaningful cause ♻️
