A little care goes a long way!
The holidays are a time for giving, gathering and showing up for one another. As we wrap up another year, we're continuing a Laadliyan tradition close to our hearts: our Annual Laadli Care Package Holiday Drive! Together, we're spreading a little extra comfort, care and kindness to daughters in Surrey to directly combat period poverty and the stigma surrounding periods.
Donations We Are Collecting
We're collecting these essential personal and menstrual hygiene products to fill our Laadli Care Packages:
Packs of pads and tampons
Packs of soap and travel sized body wash
Packs of deodorant
Travel sized bottles of shampoo
Packs of toothbrushes and travel sized toothpaste
Everyone is welcome to our packaging party and we encourage participants to bring along a donation to help fill our packages!
Laadli Care Packages will be donated to Surrey Women's Centre
Surrey Women’s Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of gender-based violence and creating safer communities. Through crisis intervention, counselling, legal advocacy, community outreach, and access to essential resources, the Centre provides compassionate, trauma-informed support to women, girls, children, and other survivors. Their mission is to increase safety, empower survivors, promote healing, and advocate for lasting social change.
