Celebrate International Women’s Day by joining us for an evening of discovering the deeper perspectives and nuances it takes to lead communities with resilience and authenticity 🌸 We invite you to our annual Laadliyan in Leadership panel discussion featuring the incredible Randeep Sidhu-Saini, Isha Khan, and Raman Dhaliwal.

These remarkable South Asian women will take you on a journey through their paths to leadership, sharing the obstacles they’ve faced, the victories they’ve achieved, and the wisdom they’ve gained. Their stories highlight resilience, authenticity, and empowerment, encouraging us all to aspire higher and lead with confidence.

Randeep Sidhu-Saini
Randeep Sidhu-Saini is a speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience in pediatric community health. A University of North Dakota graduate, she has worked across British Columbia, Ontario, and Manitoba, advocating for culturally inclusive healthcare. Based in Ottawa, she works with CHEO’s First Words Program while completing a healthcare management certification at McGill. She also founded and chairs Punjabi Community Health Services of Manitoba, driving community health initiatives.

Isha Khan
Isha Khan (she/her) is a lawyer and community leader dedicated to advancing human rights, dignity, and equality. As CEO of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights since 2020, she has focused on community engagement and transformative storytelling. With degrees from the University of Manitoba and the University of Victoria, she has worked in private practice, led at United Way Winnipeg, and served as Executive Director of the Manitoba Human Rights Commission. She was appointed by the Government of Canada to review solitary confinement conditions in 2019. A committed volunteer, she serves on multiple boards, continuing her lifelong work of fostering inclusive communities.


Raman Dhaliwal
Raman Dhaliwal (she/her) is a higher education leader with a decade at the University of Manitoba (UM), where she serves as Associate VP Administration and Chief Risk Officer—the first woman of color in this role. She oversees 800 staff and has led key initiatives, including Manitoba’s first COVID-19 vaccine clinics and UM’s Climate Action Plan. A UM graduate, she is a Level III CFA Candidate and MBA student. Named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2022, she will receive the Asian Women of Winnipeg’s Distinguished Service Award in 2025.
