LabRats in Concert at Theater 5150

We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting an intimate evening of high-energy jazz, hip-hop and R&B fusion with LabRats, Friday, December 4th! Formed in 2022 and dubbed "your favorite rapper’s favorite band," the multi-instrumental powerhouse founded by drummer Jacob Swedlow alongside fellow virtuosos Joey Archie, Miguel Recendez, Thomas Molina and Zach Martin, has fast become one of Sacramento’s hottest outfits. Known for anchoring the longstanding "Sunday Sessions" at Sacramento’s historic Torch Club and backing acts as diverse as Rituals of Mine, Jacam Manricks, Diamond Key, and Jakhari Smith, LabRats delivers a live performance that effortlessly blurs the lines between sophisticated, masterful modern jazz improvisation and sublime, soulful R&B and hip-hop grooves.
