We warmly invite you to come and meet Lachlan Anderson, your Labor candidate for Gympie. This will give you a chance to meet Lachlan and to catch up with friends and like-minded people, whilst enjoying a light lunch. Lachlan will provide an overview of where he stands on local issues, and looks forward to the opportunity to find out what matters most to you.

Our Guest Speaker will be the fantastic Jo Justo who is the Candidate for Ninderry, and has run many election campaigns herself. Her insights on issues that affect the Sunshine Coast and spill over into our region will be fascinating to hear, given we share many of them.  Her lively speaking style and solid experience will provide a rousing official start to Lachlan's campaign.

Lachlan is a fourth-generation resident of the Gympie region with an Indigenous background. Growing up in Gympie, he witnessed the region being impacted by floods, fires, and other natural disasters, which taught him the value of a reliable government in tough times.

Lachlan is running for office because he recognises the need for a better future for young people and local families. He believes in the Miles Labor Government’s plan to build this future in Gympie by supporting families with affordable housing, providing secure employment opportunities, and investing in critical local infrastructure. He is proud to be part of a Labor team dedicated to delivering essential services to Queenslanders and helping them every single day.
