Special Sydney Screening - La Cocina

Join us at this special screening of Golden Bear nominee La Cocina, alongside charity partner Raising the Bar.

This screening includes a special introduction from Barstool Brothers CEO Daniel Chin, who will talk about the relevance of La Cocina for their Raising the Bar initiative, which supports the wellbeing of Aussie hospitality workers.

The film will be followed by drinks and the chance to discuss the film. All welcome!

La Cocina is the latest film from Mexican director Alonso Ruizpalacios, starring Academy Award nominee Rooney Mara (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) and nominated for multiple awards including the Golden Bear at Berlin Film Festival 2024.

When a wad of cash goes missing, simmering suspicions and tensions quickly boil over.
