Lagrange House was established at Blackfriars in 1986 as part of the innovative vertical house system introduced by Fr John Neill OP OAM. It is named for Fr Joseph Lagrange OP (1833-1938) who founded the Ecole Biblique that produced the Jerusalem Bible.
