Join Britt from Murrumbidgee Landcare and the Lake Cowal Conservation Centre for ‘Aussie Backyard Bird Count’ Week at Lake Cowal. This event will be a bird watching walk along the Lake Cowal shore line, as we submit a survey for this citizen science program. Birdlife Australia is collecting data right across the country during this week and we will be doing our part to add Lake Cowal and its abundance of waterbirds on the map. 

Participants are asked to wear enclosed walking shoes, long pants and a hat, bring a water bottle, and a camera. If you have a set of binoculars, you are also encouraged to bring them along. 

BBQ Lunch is $10 and will be paid on the day.
