Lakeside Sketching at Nerang Pool

Sideways Social is a low-pressure way to get out and do something, alongside other neurodivergent folks. No pressure to talk - you can arrive a little late, sit a bit apart, and leave whenever you need.

This time we're sketching by the water at Nerang Pool. We'll find a comfortable, shady spot and draw the lake and surrounds at an easy pace. Sketch as much or as little as you like - sitting quietly and watching the water is just as welcome.

When: Saturday 24 October, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

Meet: Nerang Pool - near the Dance of the Secateurs sculpture (blue, red, yellow, and white one at the shore) - look for me in my yellow wide-brim hat

Cost: $15 - covers me organising and being there, plus your sketching materials

Bring: water, hat, sunscreen, something comfy to sit on, and any sensory supports; I'll bring the sketching materials. Bring sun protection.

Good to know: we'll aim for a shady spot by the water and take it gently. Arrive late or leave early anytime, no need to chat.
