Landcare European Wasp control materials collection session

Please register is you are interested in sourcing European wasp trap and lure.

European wasps continue to be a concern across the Southern Tablelands and Landcare is coming to your community to provide control materials at cost. Landcare is offering wasp traps and European wasp specific lure for the traps.

Collection sessions are being hosted across six locations in September*, including:

1. Carwoola - Sat 12 September 9-11am - Carwoola Community Hall, Gathering Place

2. Royalla - Sun 13 September 2-4pm - Royalla Common, 317 Royalla Drive

3. Bungendore - Thurs 17 September 4-6pm - Community Garden, 20 Turallo Terrace

4. Queanbeyan - Fri 18 September 1-3pm - Showground, Glebe Ave

5. Michelago - Fri 18 September 4-6pm - Michelago Hall, Ryrie St

6. Cooma - Sun 20 September 1-3pm - Opposite Local Land Services, 3 Sharp St

*If you cannot make any of the nominated session times, please pick your nearest locality and register via Humanitix anyway. There is an option during registration to select you cannot attend any of the sessions and we will work from there.

Registration is not essential but by registering for one of these sessions, it helps us plan logistics, including how many traps and lure we need to pack to ensure we have enough materials for everyone.

Previously purchased traps can be reused and extra lure can be stored for later use.

Material costs are:

Traps - $25 each

Lure - $5 each 250ml (amount for 1 trap) (plus small processing fee)
