Want to reduce erosion, increase biodiversity and improve drought tolerance across paddocks and waterways? Interested in the health of the Araluen Creek Catchment? Wish to be part of the Community of Practice focusing on landscape health?

Inviting all land managers and land stewards in the Araluen Creek Catchment.

Join us for a hands-on 2-day bootcamp exploring how water shapes landscape function and how to catch water and restore landscapes for your property.

• Learn how to apply simple strategies to improve productivity and drought resilience.

• Optimise water cycling and landscape function.

• A skills-based course about harnessing the water cycle to improve landscape function on your property.

• See how these solutions are constructed and can work with your goals.

Through activities that blend scientific principles and practical skills, you will learn:

• how to identify and prioritise issues on your property and make real changes to the way water influences your farm’s viability

• practical application of sound planning and design principles to give your landscape rehydration project the best chance of success.

This grassroots project is taking a systems approach to building resilient communities, landscapes and natural capital at scale through delivery of field days, training, mentoring, demonstration sites and subsidised on-ground work for landholders.

Date and time: Friday 25 – Saturday 26 September 2026, 9:30am - 3:30pm each day.
