Landscape Wall Hanging Class

There are places we want to memorialize; a favorite beach, your first home, where you grew up.
You’ll be guided through tracing your landscape onto a prepared slab of clay. We’ll have test tiles so you can try the technique before applying it to your final slab.

Once you’ve got the outline and guides traced on, we move to the fun part! Removing the top layer of clay will dark clay beneath. Similar to those awesome scratch art papers we had as kids, this process is super satisfying. 

Some pieces will require a little color, and I’ll help you think through that process for a successful outcome.

All pieces will be professionally fired and glazed. Pieces will be available for pickup or delivery two weeks after the class.
