Description
Annual Lansdowne Club St. Patrick's Day Lunch 2026
Dear Members,
On behalf of the Lansdowne Club, I extend best wishes to you for the New Year 2026.
It is with great pleasure that I write to invite you to one of the most anticipated dates on the Irish calendar - our Annual Lansdowne Club St Patrick’s Day Lunch, to be held on Friday 13 March 2026 at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour, commencing at 12.00 noon.
This year’s lunch is particularly special as we gather heading into the Lansdowne Club’s 40th year - a milestone that reflects nearly four decades of connection, leadership and community for the Irish in Australia. What began as a small gathering has grown into one of the most significant Irish business events held outside Ireland, and we are incredibly proud of what this event represents.
As always, the St Patrick’s Day Lunch promises to be a wonderful celebration - bringing together our members, their guests, the Irish business community and distinguished representatives from government and diplomatic corps. It is a day to celebrate our heritage, recognise the extraordinary contribution of the Irish diaspora to Australia’s economic, social and cultural life, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes this Club so special.
Your ticket includes:
A Guinness welcome reception
A three-course luncheon
The much-loved four-hour beverage package
Entertainment, speeches and plenty of opportunities to reconnect
And of course, the chance to win some fabulous prizes in our ever-popular raffle
As those of you who attend each year know, this event always sells out, and with our 40th year on the horizon, demand is expected to be especially strong. I encourage you to secure your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
Tickets are officially now on sale to you, our members first and can be purchased here.
As part of this year’s celebrations, we will once again present the Peter Brennan Chair Award, recognising an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Irish-Australian community. This award honours someone whose commitment, leadership and generosity of spirit reflect the very best of what our community represents. We warmly invite members to submit nominations for individuals they believe are truly deserving of this recognition to nadean@lansdowneclub.com.au
We kindly ask all table captains to please help with your tables' noise level whilst guests are speaking on stage. Should you have any questions regarding the event, please don’t hesitate to contact our Events Manager, Sabine Hochbaum, at sabine@lansdowneclub.com.au.
On behalf of the Board, I very much look forward to welcoming you on Friday 13 March for what promises to be a memorable afternoon of celebration, connection and pride in our community.
As our events are with and for our members, by placing an order your email will be added as a member if you are not already included. You can subscribe from event emails at any time.
We very much hope you can join us and look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you.
Yours sincerely,

Nadean Richards (Chair) and the Board of the Lansdowne Club
