Event description
Vincent Cross (USA) is a singer-songwriter, essayist, and educator whose music bridges continents and generations. Born in Ireland and raised in Australia, he now calls New York City home—a melting pot that fuels his unique blend of traditional Irish folk and American bluegrass, infused with the contemporary singer-songwriter spirit.
Scotty Balfour is an Alice Springs legend and a stalwart folkie. A forming member of the infamous Bloodwood band, Scotty will celebrate his birthday with a long list of folkie friends who are converging on the NT for the Top Half Folk Festival, including Bob Barford, Phil Beck, Barry Skipsey, Phil and Yvonne Gray.
Emmy Ryan crafts contemporary folk songs with a heart tuned to protest, poetry, and red earth. Her voice aches with feeling and holds the line with grace, while her deft mandolin and guitar work support lyrics that speak truth with tenderness. Music for those seeking beauty, courage, and connection.
