This course is recommended for those who have completed our Espresso 101 course (or similar) and are looking to expand their milk texturing and latte art knowledge and skills. 

Padre Coffee Latte Art Course - for baristas focused on perfecting their pour!

Deepen your knowledge of all things milky with our Latte Art Course. This course is designed for domestic or professional baristas who already have established knowledge of espresso extraction and texturing milk. Participants will be guided through perfecting milk texture and temperature, splitting milk for multiple beverages, and pouring latte art using specialty milk and milk alternatives.

The course is very hands-on and capped at 4 participants per class in order to maximise your time with a commercial espresso machine and our experienced trainers.

Prior Knowledge:

• Padre Coffee Espresso 101, or equivalent experience with a commercial espresso machine.

Course Outcomes:

• Develop a practical understanding of the role of texture and temperature of milk in specialty coffee
• Practice texturing and pouring with full cream milk and a variety of milk alternatives
• Learn techniques for splitting milk evenly between multiple drinks
• Refine essential pouring skills: creating a canvas, starting and stopping
• Practice latte art!
