Event description
Permaculture Blue Mountains invites you to our July Permaculture Blue Mountains gathering..
Laughing through the layers: Compost, Culture and Crap
This one's going to be extra special - because we’re diving into something we all depend on but rarely think about deeply .. water and more specifically - waste water.
Join us for an enriching evening with Jose Gonzalez. A scientist with 35 years experience in the water industry spanning planning, operations, analysis, research and shovelling - with a heavy emphasis on waste water'. When it comes to waste water, Jose really knows his sh...!
This is your chance to understand the bigger picture of water systems through a permaculture lens.
From the pipes beneath our feet to the creeks in our backyards, José brings a systems perspective grounded in experience and delivered with humour.
He’s worked across Sydney’s urban and natural water systems and he’s coming to share how we can all play a part in water resilience from backyard to basin-wide.
Bring a plate, bring a friend and bring your questions. This is an open event for anyone curious about creating smarter, more sustainable communities, one drop at a time.
Oh .. did we mention how funny José is? His talk had Permaculture Sydney West members absolutely enthralled. Who knew ‘crap’ could be so interesting?
