Launceston City Community Christmas 2024
Event description
The IGAÂ Launceston City Community Christmas is a city-wide Christmas lunch event hosted by five community organisations, to bring together those who are looking for a place to belong on Christmas Day.
You will enjoy a wonderful traditional 2 course Christmas lunch and be entertained with some fabulous singers and acts. Even Santa will make a visit and the children will receive a gift from Santa's sack. We have activities for the children to keep them entertained, and the whole day is one that all would enjoy.
Organisations involved are: City Misson, The Salvation Army Launceston, St Vincent de Paul Society Tas, The Launceston Benevolent Society and CatholicCare Tasmania.
Doors Open at:Â Â 10.30am
Event commences: 11.00am
Lunch is served: 12.00noon
Event closes: 2.00pm
LEXFUN OPENING TIMES:
Lexfun will be open from 10.00am-11.00am for those with children who wish to have some fun prior to the event.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you are not feeling well on the day, we would ask that you do not attend so as not to make anyone else unwell.
This event is an alcohol and smoke free event.
If you have registered a large group (6 or more), please arrive as early as possible and together, to ensure you are seated as a group.
There will be no registration for Take Away meals this year. There may be some available at the end of the day, but cannot be guaranteed.
