Launch Night - Melissa Lowe for Southern Metro

Join us for the official launch of Melissa Lowe's 2026 campaign for Southern Metropolitan Region!

Come for pizza, great conversations, community and democracy. We’ll celebrate how far we’ve come and get ready for the big push ahead.

Mel believes in fair, transparent and accountable government that puts people and communities first. She challenged Victoria's electoral funding laws in the High Court, fighting for a fairer system for community independents, and won.

With nearly 30 years of experience in education and community development, Mel is passionate about integrity, education equity, climate action, environmental protection, diversity and inclusion, reconciliation and stronger local communities.

We all know how critical this election is for Victoria.

You've got two votes, Victoria has a senate too, its called the upper house. A vote for Mel in the upper house is a vote for checks on intrenched political parties. Victoria hasn't had an independent take a seat in 70 years, but the landscape is changing. Lets make Mel the first.

We're excited to see you. Come along, bring a friend, and help shape what comes next.
